Bresee
The Bresee Foundation provides many services and opportunities for Virgil students and their families. We provide case management services for Virgil students and parents through the Family Source Center. Bresee runs a referral program for first time offenders providing anger management, peer counseling and supervised community service.
Academically Bresee provides one-on-one tutoring for 80 students in math and language arts; AmeriCorps members serve as in-classroom aids for ESL classes; and an after school homework club provides homework help on campus.
This fall Bresee staff began supervising the Virgil computer lab during nutrition and lunch to provide students with access to computers during the school day.
